RJS is a forensic vocational rehabilitation firm, which specializes in offering a broad range of services including a multitude of expert examinations and follow-up supports designed to promote functional restoration and optimize resumption of pre-impairment activity.

RJS has been providing services in conjunction with many consulting professionals since before its conception in January of 1995 and ultimate incorporation in 1996.

Our referral sources include, but are not limited to, Defensive and Plaintiff Lawyers (cases related to Family law, Civil Proceedings, etc.); Auto, Corporate & LTD Insurers; Government Departments; Crown Corporations & Private Business; Financial Services Commission of Ontario (IE’s); Corporate Wellness and ERP Programs; Private Citizens for both Educational and Vocational Support; as well as Educational Institutions.

Our client population has consisted of a variety of those possessing a myriad of physical injuries/conditions (i.e. soft tissue, orthopaedic, chronic fatigue/fibromyalgia, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, etc.), in addition to a wide range of psychological conditions/disorders (i.e. depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, etc.).

Our firm is responsible for the provision of the most appropriate examinations encompassing the individual’s entire Worker Qualification Profile (WQP) including education, training, and experience, as well as physical and/or psychological cognitive abilities and limitations.

Whenever vocational rehabilitation is indicated, our experience envelops realistic return-to-work plans and labour market re-entry programs within a spectrum of occupational groups ranging from business management to primary industry located within multiple geographical regions across Canada.

LANGUAGES

RJS offers all of its services in both official languages (French & English) and can also provide services in other languages, as required through a qualified and objective Interpreter

(Family members are not permitted to act as Interpreters. This policy guards against contamination of examination results.)

 - All fire safety standards and building code requirements for public safety
 - Full accessibility to persons with disabilities, including designated parking spaces
 - Adherence to non-smoking bylaws, and other health and safety regulations
 - Private interview/evaluation rooms
 - Public transit within 100 metres of facility and adequate (FREE) parking

REFERRALS

The referral process at RJS is quite straightforward in order to facilitate the fulfilment of yours and/or the client’s individual needs.

At the time of contact, specifics pertaining to your needs, costs, timelines and testing dates can be discussed. The required referral information (i.e. questions, documentation, etc.) will also be addressed along with the necessity of a corporate retainer (if required) and payment policies, etcetera.
